How much better is playing with an ASC over a mini controller?
Just wondering.. what's the learning curve like, and would I be able to adjust from mini controller to arcade style very fast? I've never touched one and I don't know what's so great about them.
Playing on the mini controller was a lot like playing Beatmania to me. With a larger AC style controller, the entire game is different, especially the technique. So if you start with the mini controller, just remember that once you get a larger one, you'll pretty much have to learn everything over again.
But if you do want to start playing, I highly suggest getting a mini controller first, solely for price reasons.
I have a mini controller.. but since there's practically no mods, and since nobody uses them seriously, I was wondering what the difficulty from going to an arcade style controller from a mini controller is like.
Switching from mini to AC controller is practically like learning a whole new game. Different muscles are used, and generally takes more work, so it's gonna be considerably more difficult than a mini.
