Default I need some help with my Homebuilt ASC

Hi there guys,

I just recently finished wiring my controller together about...20 min ago. When I plug the controller into my Playstation 2 and boot up SM 3.6, everything goes ok. I can hit Left Blue (X) and it will load Pop'n just fine.

Here is where I get the problems. When Pop'n loads, the only buttons that work are Left Blue, Left Yellow, Start and Select. On top of that, Left Yellow acts as Red and Left Blue acts as one of the whites.

I'll go ahead and tell you that I soldered everything onto a Sony PSX Original controller (without analog sticks.) I used the ground point in-between the L1 point and the L2 point on the board. I didn't do anything to the Left, Down, or Right points. Ground is Daisy Chained between the switches.

Hopefully that is enough info. I am leaning toward the problem being in the ground somewhere (hopefully) but maybe someone can give me some insight on what the problem might be.

Nevermind.

I figured out that to make the PS2 recognise the controller as an ASC...you have to short out L, D, and R.

Now I just have to order more switches, in case any of them go out.
