Marketplace Rating: 1 | I'm 18. I live in Gray SLAKE IL. I got this game in like November last year, and I have been plagued with problems after problem with my pop'n controller. From the springs being too tight to my DJ Dao Pop'n ASC's PCB dying and I'd have to take it upon myself to rip open my old PSX controller and learn to solder a pop'n controller. Well ever since then which is about 2 weeks ago, I started playing again and I've been clearing 42s and 41s so that's pretty cool.
I play with beat pop though because I'm a cheater. I also have a cyst near my right pinky that makes it so I can't make a full fist with my right hand. Hopefully I either get an injection or get surgery so I can play to my full potential. I also have calusses on my right thumb and pinky.

| That's what Kenchan keeps telling me. I haven't played on many other machines, but I find I get excessive amounts of goods at SVGL. Yeah, an unboxing would be awesome. I will figure more stuff out when I know the arrival date, should be sometime in July. | |

Marketplace Rating: 1 | @zorahk - Cool stuff, let us know when you do get it in!
Hello, my name's Matthew ('sup Arbel/zorahk); I've just turned 20. I've been playing pop'n for about two years, and within that time I've gotten to the point where I'm slowly chipping away at lower-level 42s (Enzetsu, Trauma Punk) and higher-level 41s (Contemporary Nation comes to mind for some reason; also Collapse Jazz is not a 41).
Some of you might now be thinking "Damn, you leveled up hella fast!" That's only because I've been playing and obsessing over music games ever since DDR 1st came out.
I'm a Sunnyvale Golfland regular, based in San Jose. I played around with pop'n 5 and 6 out of curiosity; when I discovered SVGL, I played 8 because SVGL had it. I then really got into it when 14 came out and SVGL nabbed it and I coincidentally got my driver's license then, so I ended up playing a lot more of Fever and a lot less of Gold.
I'm probably the only person who doesn't mind SVGL's buttons, even when I've gone to Japan and played on their cabinets, which have buttons so sensitive I could probably pound my fist hard on the cab and trigger all of them at once.
Other pop'n-related things of minor importance: Favorite AC character: Minit's (14), followed by Cup-kun (9) Favorite CS character: Mutsuki (14) Favorite song to listen to: Innocent 3 (preferably long) Crossover I want the most: Kocchi wo Muitteyo ~midnight jazzin' mix~ from dj TAKA's Milestone Song in Pop'n 17 I'm most looking forward to playing: Pianotec Favorite chart to play: Melt [EX] I wish I can clear: IDM [EX] with some sort of consistency First 100k: Fantasy [EX]
By the by, happy birthday, Malcolm.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | I'm Josh, and I'm also from San Jose, CA. I'm 21, turning 22 in 2.5 weeks. I've been playing Pop'n for about a year, when I started going to SVGL.
I'm currently passing 35s on an almost-consistent basis. Sometimes a 36 if I know the song really well.
My favourite chart is probably Gamelan de Couple [H]. It's that perfect mix of insanity and extreme fun. The song I wish I could beat at this point is IDM [H], I got really close a few times but I'm not quite there yet. | |

Marketplace Rating: 4 | I might as well post here since I frequent enough.
My name is my username backwards and either that or something close to it is basically my handle on most sites now. I am 21, and located in either southwest or northwest Ohio, depending on the time of year.
I started playing around early 2006 with 12, back when I knew next to nothing about the bemani community as a whole. Three years later I know way more than I need to, and have been playing pop'n more than any other bemani. I don't play much arcade seeing as the closest pop'n machine to me is in Findlay (and the monitor's currently being replaced by a 20" Dell) so I'll play at home, or BGSU (though sadly Arbel is selling the machine there).
I played on a minicon, got a Ransai, and am in the process of having shipped to me a DJDAO. At this rate I should probably sell that and just get a machine, but I certainly don't have the money for it right now, sadly. Plus I haven't improved at this game for the last year or so and am probably around 35 though I've come within border clears of a number of 38s, and have cleared a few 37s.
I really like yard the 6th he is pretty cool. I also like hina and charly and other old school characters to be honest. but that's basically unimportant. favorite song? i like a lot of them but セレクトショップに横たわるネコ (puppet ensemble) is certainly up there somewhere with the original tir na n'og. Seeing Soul on Fire live was definitely awesome too.
Also we have too many indian restauraunts near us and I typically go for something spicy but most of the indian restaurants make mostly mild dishes, which I don't like.
Wow I wasted too much time on this.
