But if you're looking for a much wider variety of music, and actually enjoy quirky Japanese songs other styles of music, then most pop'ns have stellar soundtracks. pop'n 15 actually comes to mind. pop'n 8, 9, and 10 were also all amazing, in my opinion.

Even the Ryu* stuff which is (imo) the best stuff on IIDX sucks in comparison to alot of my favorite pop'n tracks

But overall, I find IIDX songlists to be significantly better in the all-around department. I can spend two hours with a single style, and still not play all the songs I really like once. Contrast this with Pop'n, where after twenty minutes, I'm desperately hunting through the songlist to find anything passable.

Carnival personally seems a bit more well built in song-variety and appeal then FEVER. And it might be a bit better for someone whos not pretty adapted to Pop'n. Now granted, I only own Pop'n 9 and Carnival, so I cant directly say how bad/good FEVER is.
But I have the soundtrack to 14 and I can honestly say I enjoyed only a few tracks. xD
Carnival? They all made me implode. OwO Quote: |

| ...I slightly agree with this. IIDX does have some pretty quality stuff, but Pop'n does have some more catchier songs. ;/ (Arguable.)

but to reply I don't know why you guys hate on 14 because personally I really like hora de verdad, ubertreffen, blaaast!!!, fever robo, fever hero, on the CS side im addicted to romantic ga tomaranai, hashire scooter, etc etc, i mean honestly the song list is pretty good, although I dont see how it really fits the fever theme as well as the songs on carnival fit the carnival theme. actually 14 AC though has more of a fit to the "fever" theme I think, especially with dschinghis khan in the anime section as a revival from 10
