A lot of the IIDX crossovers in Pop'n seem to have similar charts to their IIDX counterparts.

Pretty much.

A lot of the Pop'n charts are similar to their IIDX counterparts but it's not the same vice versa (or at least as of late. I know High School Love has a pretty similar chart on IIDX).

In Pop'n, I really don't think they need to try that hard too please the fanbase.

Makes sense to me, I think that the chart can be considered part of the song's 'identity'.

Most of the crossovers from dm/bm have similar charts but they change them slightly.

For example in ryouran hit chart they changed the beginning part
