Default Making Tatsujins?

Sorry if there's a more appropriate thread, but I searched the forums and found no advice. Also, because I don't play IIDX yet, I felt it appropriate to put it here. If you need to move it, go ahead.

I just want to know how to make a good tatsujin. I've noticed certain ones with a full view of the player playing but absolutely perfect audio, and just a normal camera can't accomplish that alone, because it would capture the loud tapping of the buttons. How do you stream the audio from the PS2 into the video (like, is it a function of a specific camera)?

Are you looking to play IIDX or Pop'n? because this is popn.

Anyway, the perfect audio is using audio out to record it directly from the ps2, and after linked to the video footage...

I bought some cables from Radio shack that converts the white/red RCA plugs into a 1/8" jack (headphone jack). Then you just plug that into your PC in the Line In port and hit record using a program called Audacity.
Video, on the other hand, I'm clueless about. I really want to learn how to stream video to my PC from a PS2.

I play Pop'n, but most of the tatsujin related stuff was in the IIDX forum. So that's why I wasn't sure where to put it.

I wasn't too worried about the video. I do have a TV Card, but it's kind of bad in that it lags a lot (unless I'm missing certain settings; some settings reduced lag more than others). As for audio, I already have Audacity, but I'll have to take a look into this cable. Thanks, though.

The only problem you'd run into if you decide to direct audio from your TV to your PC is that you'd need to position your PC speakers near your TV. Other than that, it should sound just fine if you don't mute line-in sounds.

I have it easy, since I only do Taiko no Tatsujin vids, so it's just a matter of laying an mp3 of the song over the video if the song isn't audible enough.
