Default Moving from a mini con to an ASC

I've been playing pop'n music on a mini controller for about 2 and a half years now (and I'm still stuck on level 29) but I finally gave in and bought a DASC which should hopefully arrive this week in time for fever CS.

But obviously it's a completely different playstyle so for anyone to change from a mini con to an ASC, how long did it take you to re-learn pop'n music to get back to the level you were on the mini con?

I just got my DASC on Wednesday, and I'm already clearing 38s. Really, the only major difference is hitting dumb chords.

*I should probably note that on a mini I could clear everything 40 and below that I had played, aside from Enka Remix, and that Asian song from Iroha that's a 37.

#1 rule: DON'T play like you're playing IIDX. You won't get anywhere past like 39s.

#2 rule: GET USED to hitting 1+5, 5+9, 1+4, and 6+9 chords with two separate hands at fast speeds (unless you want to start using your elbows all the time), though those were hard for me to hit with one hand on a mini when I played on one. Without being able to do this, you're pretty much screwed from 36s onward.

#3 rule: Develop stamina. This only comes from experience, hence why it's #3.

I made the switch a little while ago. It's really not as bad as you might think. I was passing around 36s consistently, if I remeber correctly, and, while I got knocked down a few levels (which I quickly regained), my timing became WORLDS better.
