If I actually had a controller, I would have started with 9, but I use a daulshock and got 9 button good only about 2 months ago. I can only do some of the easier hypers. :P

how much do asc's usually run for used?

Depends on the condition of the controller and the person selling it.

It could be anywhere from $65 - $250 for a used one

(I only throw a low amount like $65 in there b/c thats how much I paid for my used Desktop Arcade on )
