I know this is like a prototype and it isnt unfinished but are other screws going to be used? The price of under $200 is hella appealing too. Im sure theyll sell out quick so I was wondering if you could give an estimate on how many units your making for the first batch?

So we would just have to buy a design and just swap it for a different look (unlike DASC controllers where the design is painted on).

Wish I could get a video so here's a description.
The DA made a more definite harder sound like two wood planks banging against each other. The DA is SOLID. The controller's walls are very thick and were glued together perpendicularly. The DA was loud no matter which surface I played on.
The Ransai has a softer sound and I can actually hear the microswtiches clicking. Didn't sound like it was made of solid plywood either even though it actually is made that way. The walls are miter cut, too at 45 degree angels. I think they're called rabbit-joints? Not sure but I was told those reduce noise. It was less noisy on the keyboard stand.
I've played on other Ransais and DAs and each sound the same.
I'm considering getting (yet another) controller. I'm concerned with noise-levels due to where I live and the late night hours I'd rather play during.

I'm tempted to get one, but probably not before 2007, I have so many things I want to buy (Final Fantasy 12 US, IIDX 12 HAPPY SKY Limited Edition, Christmas presents... yeah, I prefer buying them in advance!). But who knows... maybe I'll get enough money sooner.
And the price is definitely worth it too: less than half the price of a Konami pop ASC, geez! I'll pop in here from time to time to see what you guys are thinking of those controllers.
(PS: **looks at Dao's signature** DJ Dao shows us how to play The Dirty of Loudness! )
