It's totally dead.

The yellow right under that spot got boned. The switch is mangled and the wires are somewhat mangled. It wouldn't light up at all when I first used it.

After screwing around for a while I did it get it lighting up - yay! However, none of the buttons are actually registering, either on the PS2 or with the LPT adaptor.

I'm guessing I need a new PCB, new microswitch/wires, and (obviously) a new bottom panel. I realize this is entirely the shipping company's fault but I feel the sting pretty bad because the FP7 I also ordered has the start button issue that other people seem to be having lately.

Guess I have to wait a bit longer :|

I'm so sorry this happened to you, shipping companies blow hard. I had some stuff delivered recently that was damaged badly (not from DAO) and it was very painful. Good luck...

a question for everyone who bought one. how long did dj dao take to ship the controller? i'm thinking of buying one but i need to plan the time right for it to come. any help please!.

Not as long as I thought it would. I was expecting a month or two and it ended up coming in at around 3 weeks.

ahh i see.. did you get yours in the standard colors or did you customize it?. do you think that would make any difference?

In shipping time? Probably not. I went with the normal colors, since the custom colors costs $20 and its only a luxury (plus I like the default colors.)

I did get those better switches tho. Makes the controller last a lot longer.

ok cool beans!! i just ordered mine. standard colors, though i didn't get the better microswitches heh (save that for another time). thanks a lot for answering!

I've still not received a response from dj dao for about a week now. What's the best address to contact him at? There seem to be 3 or 4 of them floating around.

I always receive a reply within 24 hours, and I've emailed him hundreds of times, usually for random things...never usually a problem per se, especially one like yours.

Dj-Dao, I have an HP pavilion laptop with no printer port for the parallel adaptor. Do you have any suggestions on where to buy a usb printer port for the parallel adaptor or something to that effect that is not gonna cause lag when I use it on my laptop. I've been searching around, and some say that it's only supposed to be used for a printer. Little help please?

Just need Laptop parallel adaptor.

And install PPjoy program, you will run game on your laptop.
Buy the way , you can find them on our website.
