Play-Asia Carnival Konamistyle packages delayed a day?

I don't know if anyone else noticed this:

Says the game doesn't come out until tomorrow?

I thought it launched today.

Also, is it strange to have an order for a preorder game come up as "Out of Stock?" My stepmom (who is obtaining it for me because she rocks) says that's what her order said. Or are they out of it??

I apologise for this post, I was just really curious.

Play-Asia has to buy the LE from Konamistyle and then resell it to you. So they can't ship it to you until it ships to them.

It'd obviously be much faster and cheaper to buy direct from Konamistyle, but they don't ship to addresses outside Japan, so if you're not in Japan that's why you have to go through a middleman like Play-Asia.

With the regular edition they can release it earlier because it's sold through standard distribution channels and they can get it wholesale before the street date.

they have closed pre order or are pre-sold out if you are waiting until now to place the order you are probably out of luck

Point is, their site does not say anything to that effect. And since I do not have the order information sitting in front of me, I have no idea what is going on. I haven't recieved work from the P-A staff yet either, so I guess only time will tell.

And if people were out of luck, they should have posted something on the site instead of pushing the release date back. The pushback half-leads me to believe that I am not screwed quite yet.

I'll keep people posted... if anyone is really curious.

EDIT: I just checked my order, and nothing indicates that the order will NOT be shipped. I'm not counting my chickens here, but I think I might have made it in just in time.

EDIT 2: It looks like I got mine in in time - the site confirmed the payment today and the game is listed as: "Available/Reserved for your order/Ready for dispatch." I believe that is a very, very good sign.

I really, really want that V-Rare.

EDIT 3: Looks like I got it in time. The order was shipped.

play-asia has obviously many products from Konami, it's good for ppl who are not living in JP.
However, as wut Xythar said, u have to wait for a couple days in order to recive the products and definitely the prices is much higher than buying form Konami directly... =_=

Email support and check to make sure they have copies. I suppose they had a bunch of them, as I had no issue getting mine.

Sorry to bump an old topic if nobody cares. I ordered the 13 Konamistyle from Play-Asia and my CC company stopped payment because "everything from Japan is shady" according to them. I got it cleared up but by the time payment would've gone through it was a day after release and it was sold out.

So I looked elsewheres. Himeyashop has it for $102 + shipping and it appears to come with everything except the "privilege gift" (which appears to be stickers of some sort but I'm too lazy to confirm). Anyways that's another place to buy it if you missed out.

I just recieved my package today. Its perfect, except they didn't include the poster. I assume they might have shipped it seperately in a poster tube, but I e-mailed them.

Usually the posters arrive 2-3 business days after you receive your LE. Patience is a virtue.

Sounds like you need a new CC company. Normal companies would call you or something first to make sure that you weren't the one who actually made the order...
