Pop'n 11 CS?

I have PNM 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10; yet I never know what to play song wise.

First off; can I get some suggestions of songs? It's hard picking songs when all you know is the banner.

Second, is 11 worth the cash? Is there a consumer edition?

1. Play everything. Everyone has their own opinions on which songs are good, so I can't tell you what you'll like.

2. 11 CS is most definitely worth the money, but there are no cheaper versions of it like with 7-10.

11 CS has most of the 10CS songs you need to unlock ready to play
and since 10CS is a bitch to unlock, its good to beable to play those songs plus the new songs on one mix also the URA charts!

11CS has a lot of good songs on it. The songs Retro Pop Ska 2, Contemporary Nation 2, and Beat Rock 3 I'm a big fan of. I also 2nd UK Hit Chart, Rinsei, Nebuta, and I'll also throw in Mongol, the Ura charts for Hip Rock 2 and Twee Pop, and Bebop.

You didn't say you had 12, so you may want to look into that, too. Both 11 and 12 are truly excellent games.

Really is just "play a bunch of songs in Arcade mode". You can only really know what to do if you can read Japanese.

Pop'n Tourist is the unlock system of Pop'n Music. You earn something similar to Air Miles each time you play a song and how much you get is dependant on how well you play. When you get enough "Air Miles", Mimi (one of the two bunny mascots) can travel to continents as well as outer space. Then you keep playing and then you will recieve mail from Mimi from time to time until the mail that probably tells you what souvenir that she has gotten from that trip. That souvenir is your unlock. After you get an unlock, you can keep repeating this until you get 100% for each contenent plus outer space. If you don't have enough to travel, you can "stay home" and build up "Air Miles".

IMO PnM11 CS is the best CS as of yet. Both the GST and the charts are brilliant.

Being that 11 had Time Travel, it automatically wins. Add in Contemporary Nation 2 and you have a game that might cause heart attacks with how badass it is. Then of course you have your AC side which was a great mix of songs (too bad Space Dog gets forgotten, as it is stupidly fun to play).

And I think this was the first CS game to have the Character Viewer which I actually got a huge kick out of.

As far as I can tell, the content of the emails don't have anything to do with what you end up unlocking - they're just postcards about the places that Mimi and Nyami have visited. They're really amusing too and talk about random things like the history of coffee in South America and ice-skating in Russia.

11CS is amazing mostly because of HS5 and the revival of western from pop'n 10.
