The Pop'n Mini Controller is LOUD AS HELL aka Are There Any Mods For a Minicon Thread

Hi. Just wondering if there's any mods for the Pop'n mini controller as there are with the iidx one. I especially loathe the amount of noise this thing makes.

I'm interested in mods for the big controller myself. (DJ Dao's if it matters)

tried to mod it. It isn't as simple as the iidx controllers because the buttons still make a hell of a noise even if you move the circuit board away and the back case.

I put some cardboard inside each pop'n button but it didn't do that much good, only reduce the noise a little. If someone knows of a good way of modding a mini controller please let me know, since no topics are on it.

Random (Ransai maker) has a "quiet mod" for his ASC controllers. I think he puts thin felt pads in the buttons themselves to make the buttons more solid sounding. Ive never tested this though.
