Pop'n Music 10 CS Code problems

I'm having a problem getting the codes to work properly in pop'n music 10 cs.

I keep pressing the buttons exactly as the codes on Konami's site show them as, in a fashion similar to how I did them in Iroha, but every time I do nothing comes up at all. I know I'm entering them in the right place: at the title screen.

Am I doing something wrong? I have the re-released version of the game..would that affect my ability to enter the codes at all?

Now it's at the title screen with "prett start" showing and not showing Arcade/Free/etc, correct?

I think the only change the greatest hits version had was some minor typo changes, but I could be wrong. Even then you're better off unlocing it normally, since the codes aren't permanent. :/
