I guess we can thank that song why GuitarFreaks' notes stopped being BPM-dependent since 10thMIX. Also, they better keep the song, flat-rate 400 BPM.
2. Yeah, I've also told you IRL about PM's gauge, being similar to KBM's. Am I the 3rd, 4th, or 5th person who got the impression that pop'n's gauge should be tweaked to 80%, a la beatmania/IIDX/III?
As for the survey, I would like to ask when will it be released, and my three songs of choice consist of:
Funky sonic World, Hare Hare Yukai, and I dare say this, a crossover license*, or a non-ee mall/pop'n/IIDX TЁЯRA song**.
*I'm already having a hard time about this, given that DDR (on the grounds that butterfly ~delaction remix, is a Dancemania song that appeared in pop'n), PPP, GFdm and IIDX have great candidates for that final slot. Besides, I feel guilty grilling Timer IRL about the "If pop'n is supposed to feature anime theme songs, then how come Night of Fire from Initial D, or let alone the aforementioned anime is still not yet represented in the game?" notion.
**I know. Some of you guys bitched, whined, moaned, and groaned, "OMG, DDR STOLE AWAY TЁЯRA and the Hyper J-Pop genre from pop'n/IIDX!" even though it's just a homecoming for both Naoki & jun in SN AC (need I remind you that jun started her Bemani career in DDR?). <_< But, I'm gonna concede that the band debuted in pop'n.

No amount of seniority can override that, as far as I know.
So far, I still haven't received an answer on my Q: speaking of Bemani crossovers, do licenses count?

Butterfly (Delaction Mix) is considered by Pop'n to be from DDR, but not Rhythm And Police or Irresistiblement.

So far, I still haven't received an answer on my Q: speaking of Bemani crossovers, do licenses count? | Yes which is why I see like 2-3 Pop'n machines per arcade I go to, and maybe 1 IIDX machine. IIDX might have a more "hardcore" fanbase, but as for rankings yeah.. | |

Also, as far as I know, the current Bemani roster incarnation is most from IIDX & pop'n.
Going back to my question, "...speaking of Bemani crossovers, do licenses count?", based on the answer I received, I guess it's safe to say there's a potential that I can see any the following happen: from GFdm: Rurouni Kenshin (Sobakasu, GF11/dm10), Bobobo (Wild Challenger, V), Detective School Q (Luvly, Merry-go-round, GF11/dm10), Naruto (Mountain a go go, GF11/dm10), Gundam SEED Destiny: Special Edition (~Enrai~ tooku anari, V4), FullMetal Alchemist (Rewrite, V2), Kamikaze Girls* (super "shomin" car, GF10/dm9), Yume de Aetara* (Believe in Love, GF10/dm9), Nana* (Glorious Sky, V3), Sexy Commando Gaiden (Romance, GF8/dm7), and Galaxy Express 999 (GF6/dm5) from PPP: Initial D (Night of Fire, PPP 1st) from DDR: Inuyasha (Angelus, SN2), Gurren Lagann 2 (Trust, SN2), and Sky Girls (Baby's Tears, SN JP CS)
*Live-action, and NOT anime.
Guys, look on the bright side: those aforementioned licenses can be used to recruit new pop'n players; and no, (non-sequitur) Taisetsu na Mono (GF10/dm9) is not from Prince of Tennis, while Dragon Blade and Atalante are NOT from Guilty Gear.
