Or maybe it was the middle five. I honestly don't remember, but the important thing is it's a huge pain in the butt and not all that fun, so you should hold off until you get a real pop'n controller.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | im wondering never played before but i want to. i play DDR a bit of IIDX and i want to play some PNM i dont want to buy a small "Mini Con" or the small Konami Controllers. would it be worth it to buy a ASC. im working on a deal for a DASC for 150 but i need a game but theres another deal im working on. so do u think that if i get it, i will stay with it i dont want to spend 200+ (ASC Games(s) and a way to play imports) on something ill drop in a few weeks. ive played DDR for bout a year and a half and have to quit because of my foot (stress fractures and such from playing XD) that shows my dedication. but like i said i dont want to waiste the money

Anyway, we can't tell you whether you'll stay with it or not. That's entirely up to you, and if you end up buying a DASC or KASC and decide you don't like it you can always sell it at the marketplace here, someone's always looking for a ASC. Most people who enjoy IIDX will enjoy Pop'n Music (I like it more than IIDX personally, although IIDX's music choice is somewhat better). The thing about Pop'n Music is that it looks childish (but is in no way an easy game, of course). Basically if you like cute fluffy cats and bunnies with smiles on their faces with colorful objects falling from the top of the screen, Popn's a great choice.
In the end though it's all up to you and what you like. Take a look at Youtube videos if you haven't already, they give you a good look at the game.

Marketplace Rating: 6 | Can someone help me with drm'n fry Hyper (36)? I want to be able to pass that ending, and somehow I think randomly sliding my hands across the ASC isn't working. Any tips besides "slow it down in training mode" (which I will do)?

Someone suggest a 34 to me. Or something around that. I nearly passed Contemporary Nation and Pretty Miyabi. I could pass Nebuta if not for its end, and Hard PF isn't completely horrible, except I haven't passed any of them yet.... Suggestions?

Suggestions? | Try popping in Pop'n 8 and playing some of the mid to upper 30s. You might be surprised to find you can handle Linus Hyper (a 37), or play around with Lady Metal, Piano Rock, Candy Pop, etc. Pop'n 8 is what got me past the low 30s, so I highly recommend it.

But don't blame me if it doesn't work, haha.
To set speed mods, it should work the same way as in Free mode: both yellows at the song's preloading screen, then press the corresponding buttons to whatever mod you want to use.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | Is it a hard transition from a mini to a ASC? I'm just waiting for my swap magic to come (hopefully today!) and i want to know if i should put a lot of time into it, or play to get the idea and wait until i get an ASC. im saving for a DJ DAO they look nice. Or is a DASC or a ransai better?
Thx
