yeah the only one that's really off is butterfly delaction remix which konami shortened to 蝶トランス
(butterfly trance) because otherwise it wouldn't fit.

that or they just want to hide the really bad chart deep in the abyss of alphabet sorting

When I checked Carnival CS the other day for some of those, there's a lot more where that came from, so it's possible there's still a lot of messed up genres.

I've been really thinking about getting Pop'n~ But usually none of them are available on play-asia.com... So what Pop'n game is good for a beginner like me? :] I just love the songs on there and love to start playing.

Some might disagree with me, but I find the standard controller to be complete garbage and not fun to play with. I currently use a DJ Dao ASC because my arcade machine I just ordered is on a boat somewhere in the pacific.

I would recommend, if you are strapped for cash, to get a mini (aka standard, or CS controller) and see how you like the game, but if you like it enough that you feel you will play it, sell the mini as soon as possible and buy an ASC because they are a million times better.

Okay~ The buttons on the CS are smaller than the ASC one right? ]: Because I really do like those big over-sized buttons... I thought that the big buttons would make it easier (and funner) to play the game.

But if I do get a ASC~ Get it for Dj Dao? :]

Yeah the Mini controller is like 1/3rd the size of an ac controller.
I definitely would recommend the dj dao controllers over any other manufacturer.
Also funner is not a word but your thought is spot on.

I forget how the time unlock works...

How long do you play it until it unlocks, and how would I know when it actually unlocked something?

I'm sick of 14's missions and I suck at using Hidden settings and stuff...

I know zorahk already posted about it, but I wanted to chip in anyway - Yes, don't get a mini-con or a Konami arcade controller.

Mini-con is really small and imo annoying to play on; it's harder to hit the buttons as they're smaller. I made the mistake of buying a mini-con and now I need to save up again for a dao. It's okay to play on but it does get frustrating considering you don't actually get anywhere compared to a ASC.

The official Konami arcade controller I've heard has shitty microswitches, isn't that durable and the buttons feel awful. Don't forget the pathetically expensive price.

And just to add - Don't get a Desktop Arcade either. If you want to know why, just read the recent posts in the stickied topic.

Get a DJ Dao. No doubts about it.

And no there isn't a Pop'n 15 yet but I'd get 14 or 13 if you're interested in CS versions. In my opinion they have some of the best songlists. 14 was my first and my favorite.

To answer your question, Uno. I believe time unlocks start after 3 hours of playtime (not menu screens, but actual playtime). Don't quote me on it though... I don't use the time unlocks.

This is true, but I would recommend for you uno to just make sure the missions are set to easy and to do those, because they are incredibly easy and should take you less than a day's playtime to do if you were to do all of them in one sitting
