The KASC actually uses sub-mini switches that can be ordered from Happ. Sure it's loud, but with careful modifications, that can be fixed. It's a nice alternative if you don't have the money for a dao(don't give me that "it's expensive" bullshit cause you can find one for between 180-200 in the marketplace). Sure, it's not as great, but I like using it.
To each their own though. I would recommend it if you don't have the extra 120-140 for a dao, and because a Dao is more for hardcore players. A question you have to ask yourself before you decide to buy one though is will you be committed to it/have time for it and play a lot/get your money out of it, or is it just gonna sit somewhere and collect dust?
PS - Before you say anything, I owned a Dao, so I know how great they are.
As far as good CS releases go, I would say that 11, Carnival, and Fever are the best way to go. If you have a CRT TV, then anything below that is also good only because they tend to be laggy/mistimed on an LCD tv(9 especially), or so that's what I have experienced. Also 8-10 have really annoying unlock systems, 10 more so than any game in the series. I can't vouch for 7 since it's been so long since I played it.

I'm really not trying to be a jerk here, but once you get "up there" it makes a huge difference, and even the Dao isn't perfect at that, but it's still better than the KASC by a longshot.

Right now I'm only on a 22 inch stand and its rather low and annoying. Thinking about replacing it.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | This seems really stupid but I can't always hit 1+2+3
1+3 are hit fine but my fingers don't always trigger the 2, sometimes it does though. Any advice?

Or, get softer springs.

| That's what I'm doing.
Softer springs might be an option, but I might need to play more to make the buttons less stiff.

Marketplace Rating: 2 | It's true but it never really gets the arcade spring feeling so IMO you should buy new springs.

And it did seem to just be because it was new, all the buttons are much easier to hit now.
Any tips for around Lv34-35-36?

Well, Battle Dance is 1:24 and above in YouTube - Pop'n Music - BATTLE DANCE [Hyper] 97k and just basically the scaley bits.
Enzetsu is another, mainly the mid to the end though/

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Weird, I find the beginning on Enzetsu a lot harder than the end. I think the end is pretty BS friendly.
If I don't know how to do a certain part, I just kinda smear my hand along its course. I get some of them that way so life won't go down as far.
But for enzetsu its all about being everywhere with your hands. My score is low but I can at least pass it this way o_o;

Marketplace Rating: 1 | Huh.. I've always found the beginning easier. It's kinda like "where the hell do my hands go lol" for me at the end.
Btw, it might just be me but does the K-Classics song in ee'mall have really shitty timing?
