Haha, most eemall songs have terrible timing. K-classic especially.

Altho I think some of them are okay. didn't really notice any timing fallacies in Gabbhop

Yea, I know some of them have bad timing, but K-Classics seems worse than others.. best I've done is some mid-70k song.

Terrible compared to usual 90k scores on songs I usually play haha.

Gabhop's fine for me too. What other songs have off timing, btw?

Lots of songs have crap timing.

Enka, Enka Remix, Spanish (LOL IT'S LIKE A 14 AND NO ONE HAS ABOVE 90K), Spy, Spy Remix, V (for some reason they ****ed this up), kei-row punk, probably others that I can't think of right now.

There's also some songs with overly easy timing. Tentai Kansoku comes to mind, I've never gotten below a 99.5k on it.

Uh I think Kaze mentioned having around 91000 when VJArmy still existed.

Also someone suggest me some easy 39s and 40s, I'm starting to get up there but not sure what isn't too rough. For reference I've 90K failed CNation 2 EX and 90K failed Tribal Pop EX passing the song at least 3/4ths of the way through the song and losing it either near the end or at some part that requires fast alternating triple scales or jackhammers.

I've passed a few 38s and Space Waltz EX so far.

contemporary nation 2 is a hard ending and was also re-rated to a 40 in later games. contemporary nation 1 likewise became a 41.

I recommend you try UK hit chart and Rhythm and Police.

There are hundreds of songs with tight timing. Only one I can think of (Enka from pop'n 2) is offbeat at any point. There are a few songs with missing judgement windows (Akiba, Spy hyper, Spanish), but all of them are fine if you hit the note within the COOL judgement. Cools have never been messed up in pop'n, which is a sigh of relief for IIDX and bm1 players who had to deal with shit like e-motion and GAMBOL.

ee'mall 2nd avenue is the only mix I can think of that is consistently tight and almost never normally timed (unless you count stuff new to Adventure)

Sometimes windows get fixed (Ura Hip Rock 2), sometimes they get modified (Classic 11 on Iroha CS), and sometimes tight timing is ADDED to them (Ura Neat).

Also I have a high 94k on Spanish, either 16 or 19 goods, I forget. If it's 19 then Kaze has 16, if it's 16 then Kaze has 14 or something lower. It's not entered for some reason but I can pop in pop'n 7 and take a picture if you don't believe me.

On the opposite side, there's crap like End of the Century [EX], which judging by its difficulty rating (34), I should NOT be able to get 98k on.

Or maybe it's just the song being piss easy for its level on both Hyper and EX.

Happy Hardcore (14 ee'mall) Hyper. I need help.

I seem to screw up at alternating between 1+2 with one hand. I'll probably have to bite the bullet and practice that in training mode, but any tips that you guys can give?

Get different springs, if you're using a stock dao that's gonna be impossible to roll on.

Just softer ones. You can probably buy them online or maybe ask dao for ones from the beatmania controllers.
