On the subject of tight timing, maybe in the past it was unintentional (but I refuse to believe this), but as of late, tight timing definitely seems to be intentional. Spy Remix EX has tight timing. Nothing too hard. The original Spy Hyper had no Great window (so it was either cools or goods), so Spy Remix EX was a joke comparatively. HOWEVER, Spy Remix Hyper has the same timing window as the EX up until the slowdown, where it essentially turns into the original Spy (musically), and from there on it no longer has a Great window at all and you're just playing Spy Hyper basically (with a MUCH HARDER chart haha).
To put it in perspective, my best play on Spy Remix EX is about 4 goods f/c. My best play on Spy Remix Hyper is about 60 goods f/c.
Anyways, tight timing, or songs that are off, or lacking windows, etc., should not discourage you to play them or make them any less fun. Consider them as having more room for improvement than your average pop'n chart. Or as a bulding block for the shift to S-Challenge play.

Anyway, I noticed that recently though songs have ridiculously easy timing windows.
I'm talking like 15 and 16 songs are really easy compared to some older songs, in general.

I have never gotten below a 99.9K on Tentai Kansoku.
So my conclusion is that song has no GOOD window.

After playing the game, I've discovered that my worst play are my scales.
Is there any way to get better at it? Like songs that are below 30 or low 30 that make good scale practice? And if so, are they available on Pop'n 14 and 16 arcade cabinets?

I had a lot more, but they all just seemed to slip my mind.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | Ahh yeah. I had tons of trouble with scales. It does take a lot of practice but you'll find it'll just "click" and you'll get it.
As well as the other suggestions, try Rondo Hyper. It's a 26 and found on 14. It personally helped me out a lot with scales.
And when the time comes where you can tackle slightly higher songs (mid 30s), try out Progressive Hyper. I believe it's a Lv35 ee'mall song.

I'll definitely try out Rondo hyper tomorrow, and maybe Lesson Hyper if I can find it. LOL.
Is Cat Jazz Hyper also appropriate for scale practice?
