It's a functional controller within itself, but it's hollow and as a result extremely loud. It also feels a lot less sturdy than it actually is which to a degree hinders game play since most people tend to freak out about breaking it while playing on one.

You're better off going with a DJ Dao or Desktop Arcade controller to be completely honest. The only real reason to have the Konami ASC at this point is for the sake of having an official controller. If you want arcade aesthetics, just buy a DJ Dao controller, and you'll get something sturdier with basically any home made/3rd party ASC you can buy through the forums.

lol, that seller sucks. He's telling you not to bid at the last second because he's "not too fond of bid snipers"? What a douche. That's the only smart way to bid. He's just trying to ensure a huge bidding war so that he makes the most money possible.

I personally wouldn't buy from anyone that deigns to tell me when I'm allowed to bid on his item.

I second the DJ Dao controller being the best possible arcade Pop'n controller on the market today.

[Edit]: He's also already received two complaints in ten transactions as a seller. I don't like those odds.

Default PS2 to USB adapter

Only some PS2 to USB adapters will work with Pop'n Music controllers, its normally the ones that work with dance mats. This one works for my homebuilt ASC on my PC.

Worst idea ever.

DJ Dao or nothing.
