It has to be a Japanese name in kanji, and the 2nd time you type your name it must be in kana. I did not input credit card information. I, too, cannot get the update patch to work, and I haven't been able to get the songs either.

how does the be-mouse do as an actual mouse?
easy to move? fits in the hands nicely? any lag?
would be awesome as a novelty mouse, but if it's too crap to use when I'm playing half life and Team Fortress 2 I probably won't be bothered to use it... | |

Hi
I got it to work after thousands of mails with the customer support of Konami. In order to get the patch running you must first download the Updated Software from the Be-Mouse page. The Version that comes on the CD does not work with the patch!!!
Then you must install the pack for Asia languages from the Windows CD. Then download Applocale and start the downloaded Be-Mouse installer with Applocale. Now you can install it and then apply the patch 1.12.
Then all you need is an I-revo account to download the Songs.
So I will download the next Song now

You have to start the game an choose addinstall. Then you must enter your I-Revo ID and password to access the shop. All songs listed there are free at the moment and you can download them at very low speed But I think it will end today.

Hi!
im new here and this is my first post but i hope it be useful
To use the pop'n music be-mouse you must download it from here: ポップンミュージックビーマウス pop'nmusic be-mouse
before installing it, install AppLocale in windows (just google it, it's a microsoft program) now execute the AppLocale and choose the "popnmusic_be-mouse_setup.exe" file whenever you have downloaded it, then choose nihongo (日本語) as language and the setup will start in japanese, installing it is easy, doesnt matter the japanese, just click next, next, next.
(Im not sure, but I think it's needed to change the region config of the pc to "Japanese")
now, download the patch from the same page you downloaded the setup.
Use the patch again with the AppLocale....
and this is the part where i got stuck, coz a message in english says that i got a wrong version of the game or im using a wrong patch....
I already have my account in I-revo, you just need to write a name in hiragana twice to not get any error.
I hope anyone can tell what to do with the patch error thing. | |
