--
I am constructing outlines 'n' such for a Pop'n MegaMix. I want it to start from Pop'n 1 and work its way up, with the themes of each Pop'n game intermittently showing themselves, to signify that the following music is from that particular Pop'n game. As far as I know, Pop'n 1-6 all have the same themes; I don't even remember if Pop'n 7 or 8 had unique themes. For all I know, each Pop'n game may have unique themes I could use. I have all the OSTs, which don't have anything useful for the earlier Pop'n games, so if any unique themes exist for each game, I'd have to get some game rips somehow. Any ideas/knowledge?
Also, I want to use CS songs where they appear in the game, not the OST, so I am hoping someone can point out any mistakes I have regarding the CS songs. Also, I remember Zen-Jazz being on Pop'n 9, though it's on Pop'n 10's OST, so maybe that was a preview song?

ANd for Zen Jazz, it was a pop'n 10 AC preview on pop'n 9 along with Core Groove and some others.
You have Artemis [LONELY] for pop'n 10 but it's a pop'n 8 CS song.

I updated the first post's first sentence (I know, it's abrupt). For an example of how this will turn out, first of all here's some big mix thing I did for IIDX (there's a wav version somewhere). Apparently the lowest BPM song that I am going to use for it is Rapunzel ~original long ver.~, which will then transition to some nekomata master song. Requiem [MISSA] would actually come before, but I don't think that song will fit well on this mix unless I can mix it with some other song. Or I'll just not use it at all.

I updated the first post's first sentence. | It's a happy song with a little kid singing and bagpipes in the background.
I have a listing of pop'n songs and their BPMs in an easy to read format if that'll help you out.

I am using Mixmeister Fusion, which works well, but likes to cut the BPM in half if it is too fast, and gets confused with songs that change BPM. It'll be good to have another source. Some songs, like CURUS, Oedo Kayo, Deep Magenta, and Atlantic Spotted Dolphin, can be really confusing to me, since I'm trying to do this by Real BPM, not Game BPM. For Miracle 4 [WORLD TOUR], I know the first section is 130 BPM, and the second section is whatever the max BPM is as shown in the game. Then there's Violently Car, from which I'm only using one small section, but brings up the point of BPM-changing songs. I'll have to deal with that. I should probably put the songs that have a constant 8th note beat towards the tail-end of the mix, but, as I said, sometimes it's hard to tell. It's quite a different selection of songs compared to IIDX, as there appears to be quite a few more 190+ bpm songs.
Crap this forum moves fast. I editted my 2nd post.
Just watched Scotland on Youtube. I sort of like it, but wouldn't put it on here. If anything, I would put the ending on it if there wasn't any annoying cheering and clapping. Pop'n 11 was my main first Pop'n game, so I like just about everything on it, but I have to draw the line somewhere. I don't like a lot of the pop music, ironically (mainly j-poop). Pop'n 1 has some enjoyable music, strangely. But now that I'm going to do this by BPM, I might get rid of a couple Pop'n 1 songs.

A number of people like Scotland. A lot. It's definitely catchy in its entirety but chopped up it wouldn't be much since it builds and builds towards the end.
Istanbeats is what defines pop'n 11 to me.

But rampant Scotland fanboyism aside, I think Retro Pop Ska 2 defines Pop'n 11 for me.

Audity's megamix will have personal tastes but no one should complain (I remember seeing a post on VJA about how you really liked Masara and New Age and New Age Remix or something. I hope this comes to fruition because I like seeing positive remarks about pop'n music.

Will you be adding licensed songs or songs that are not Konami originals made for Bemani games? I'm referring to things like Anapanman Theme or the Z.O.E. song from pop'n 8 CS Beyond the Bounds. It is Konami but it isn't Bemani.
I just think an entire mega-mix of purely Bemani songs that were in pop'n music would be awesome.
