Sticky as in hard to push down? Or sticky as in they get stuck and stay pushed down?

Sticky as in they get stuck. That's what I hate about SVGL's machine.

Anyway, here's the whole moving story in pictures, 56K beware:

It'll most likely happen, but I'm not sure when. Tons of work to do this week.

For serious though, these are excellent. They're also all sanwa.
The SVGL buttons aren't too bad, what are you talking about.

I wholeheartedly disagree. Ask Zerocide and Kenchan.

Should just be a matter of cleaning the button housings and buttons then no? My arcade just got an adventure machine and I had to clean all the buttons just to render it playable =/ They were getting stuck every other note.

It depends. Sometimes it can be a problem with the spring or microswitch.

Your arcade should upgrade to party though hahaha.

Well, I found an upgrade for a decent price but the Arcade owner is being strange.. He thinks that if we upgrade already that it's "too soon" and that Adventure will have been a waste. He doesn't view it like me in that 99% of the money he paid was for the cab and not the kit. However me and you both know that Party would benefit more because of the bigger song list, thus being more fun overall.. If we bought the Party he said he'd wait 3 months and then put it in. I just said fuck it and forget it.. wait for Movie. He's really nice, just not logical D:

Grats on the cab btw, it's a beauty.

Well, actually, 99% of the money was the PCB. I've seen pop'n 1 cabinets for like 700 bucks and on the other hand I bought my party kit for 150. The bemaniPC PCB however, to buy separate, actually costs around 2 grand. So most of it is for the PCB.

I will be buying movie as well once 18 is out.

I like Party a lot but Adventure was the best pop'n mix ever to me, not to mention it still had the long versions, and a ton of songs I liked got cut. I would personally keep an Adventure as Adventure if I got one (at least until they brought long versions back, or made another insanely good mix), but it doesn't make sense to upgrade to Party so late if that's what the owner wants to do eventually.

I would advise against getting Movie if all the ee'mall 2nd avenue has been removed from it. Those charts are really fun on the whole.

Congrats on getting your machine zorahk, hopefully it'll give you plenty of fun and experience.

Well, I still have the adventure hard drive right here, and it only takes a few seconds to swap out
It's only four small screws. If I bought movie, of course I would keep party around too!
