Congrats on getting it after all this time. Especially the customs lockup I'm still contemplating on my machine, but from how you said how much of a pain it is to move, and me moving around so much... So now I completely envy you, but you don't need me to tell you that.

It was only a pain to move because I only had two people doing it.

The customs.......though.....

Let's just say I'm putting the customs fees on my tax return, whether they acknowledge it or not.

Good thinking, that may get you a few bucks back if you're lucky. The government does not need to charge you that much for something of private use. But I am curious as to how they decided to charge what they did. And where exactly does that money go?

Light blue? Where'd you get that? It's pretty rare to find colors other than yellow for sale. And yes, light blue is 9th.

The arcade I go to orders from a supplier in Hong Kong, so possibly an arcade there closed, or they upgraded and bought a brand new cab and decided to get rid of the old one. That's the only two possibilities I can think of. I'll take a pic of it tommorow.

Congratulations on buying your machine. I wish someone in the chicago community would buy any bemani machine other than an extreme machine XD you owning a pop'n machine gives hope to me that its very possible to get a current bemani machine. Congrats again.

Stupid arcade is too dark >< The pictures didn't turn out at all. If the arcade ever decides to turn their lights on, then I will definetly snag a pic.

Dude, you are THE MAN!!! I'm so jealous. Anyhoo, are u familiar with an arcade named 8 on the Break? The owner there is looking to upgrade their Pop'n music Fever to Party(Also looking for IIDX Empress Upgrade kit) He's been looking for kits everywhere, with no luck. Do you think Kenchan could help him out with this?

Kenchan only has HDDs not full kits so if your arcade doesn't have the hardware (which I am well aware that 8otb doesn't) it becomes a hassle.

Most likely their best bet is to sell the machines they have and buy new ones with the hardware already in it. Otherwise I don't think they will be able to get any PCBs at this point.
