See, now it really boggles me that IIDX can't have 130 songs on a disc. I know the videos take up a lot of space, but it's nowhere near the amount of video footage as on some RPGs I'm sure we all know of. Is it just the kind of compression Konami is using or lack thereof?
Apologies for the off-topicness, just had to vent.
Troopers had like 100, so it's not that big a deal. If you really want all the songs, you could buy a used arcade machine and pay out the ass to ship it here.

Do do the latest version of arcade cabinets contain every song from every previous version? Seems like you'd have to get both an arcade cabinet and some way to access every version from the same machine (hard drive array?).

Not every song I believe, but a vast majority is still there. Some songs are taken out in every version.
They retain most, but some are lost. I'm going to be buying a pop'n machine and it kind of sucks that smb got taken out after 15 because I will have to keep a 15 around to play that.
