They all seem to be in stock at Play-Asia for me (Except 10, which has a 1 week wait period). YesAsia also sells them, so you could try them out as well (They are usually cheaper than PA).

Speaking of these Best Hits versions, what were the changes again? Different game insert is all I know of. Did they change anything about the manual or the DVD artwork?

best hits, out of stock

http://us.yesasia.com/en/Search/SearchResult.aspx

search for pop'n music, no best hits listed

and ebay is barren of popn items as usual

you're thinking of the various popn music 'konami the best' versions (aka greatest hits), whereas he was asking about a specific game called best hits.

Im pretty sure everything about the konami the best versions is the same except the case insert, which is reversible and has the regular cover on the back, but i havent really examined them that carefully

also, EvilDruid, you might try putting a WTB ad in the trading and marketplace forum

There's not a whole lot in Best Hits to make it worth getting anymore, especially now that Screen has been repeated on later CS games. I can think of like two songs that I like on Best Hits that aren't anywhere else on the PS2 releases...Lupin III '78 and Anime Heroine.

I dunno if that's worth $40-50.

Unless you're a collector; don't bother. Ask random.

Talk about redundantcy.

"pop'n music Best Hits! (Konami the Best)"

All in all, pop'n music Best Hits! isn't worth getting at all. Also, depending on your PS2 setup, some modded systems can't read CD-based games well. pop'n music Best Hits! is a CD-based game.

Also, all the "Classic"s series from 1-7 are on pop'n 7.

Talk to Dewgy--you might be able to work out a sale through him.

The store he works at has a copy of Best Hits for sale, and trust me--in the Lehigh Valley, its not going ANYWHERE.

Actually apart from the GB Micro, which I got already, Pop'n Best Hits is the next on my hitlist of "things to buy when I'm bored". It's just a matter of time now. :/

(But yeah $52.99 after PA tax + ~5bux for shipping)

Best Hits! used to be a nice supplemental disc back when 7~10 were 60+ dollars.

Now, of course, it's much harder to care for the exclusives and semi-exclusives it has.

It does have a bunch of 6AC licenses and 3 remix exclusives, and it's the only place to play VISUAL 2's and FUTURE's EX (for now).

May be worth more to those who can't play import PSX Pop'n.

As for me, I got it along with 8CS back in the day and I play it a few times here and there.
