suggestions?

i am one of the only ppl on this forum i guess who hasnt played a bemani game other than ddr i really want to play pop n but i have problems all around.
1.imports are costy just for the game alone. the JP ps2 and controller will make me cringe
2.i dont gots a pop n machine at the mall
3.no one likes to post step n music
and 4.i dont feel like searching for the internet to find feeling pomu files
and if i ever get to play it. i dont know how it will be like. the most i know is that it has characters. varried music and 9 buttons. thats all i know

why don't you hit the marketplace for a Japan PS2, a pop'n controller and some pop'n games

Also, BMS work in Feeling Pomu. So go to the IIDX simulation.

Also, I don't actually have the controller. Just a daulshock and I can already do some hyper songs. Oh. Last I checked pop'n 10 was pretty cheep.

Or just be a cheater pumpkin eater like me and get yourself a flip top and Swap Magic for your PS2.

Of course you'd still have to buy a controller and games which would go against your "I dun' wanna buy imports they're expensive" bit.

Unless you're a lucky son of a bitch like me and have a local store that sold the controllers and Pop'n 13, you're SOL. But hey, If you want to get a true Pop'n Music experience you'll have to dish the dough some way or another.

An emulation isn't jack compared to the real deal, I think.

i do not have a store that sells imports...better get em online. and the flip top is the cheapest and easyest way for me to play the games.

Yes, Pop'n 7, 8, 9, and 10 have all been re-released as part of the Konami the Best series for much cheaper. Play-Asia has them for only $35 each.

Start checking all video game stores in your neighborhood. Call them up. I got lucky and found a store that had swap magic DVD.

Then, find a cheap PS2 game on the internet. I got mine at Ebay.

Next get a controller. I would really reccomend saving up and doing whatever you can to get an ASC like mine right here,



Or if you are tight on money, buy a mini controller or use a ps2 dual shock.

at least? I would get a dao no matter what. It is the best pop'n controller.

and don't play using mini/dualshock, it's just not fun at all. its boring.
