Yes, there are. I think one of the videos on youtube of Niente EX is a girl playng it. Her timing is incredible, but her passing ability (at least for that song) isn't anything amazing like RoBo or anything.

First of all, I haven't been on this site in so long. It's weird being back and not in the art forum.

Ok. I am a girl and i play pop'n. I love the game so much. Right now the highest i can pass is 34s (on a good day) I usually play from 30s-33s. I have passed 2 35s. My goal is to get to 40s and then i will take a break from pop'n.

Lately i have been playing more and more beatmania. I am not sure if after pop'n i will focus more on that game.

If anyone was at TGA, i was there constantly hovering over the pop'n fever machine. After a while my hands were getting sore but it was worth it playing on the AC.

I don't think I even count, but...
I really only started playing Pop'n 12 CS about 2 weeks ago and on a dualshock.
The highest I can only pass is a 29 on 9-line, but I hope to practice enough to at least enter the 30s. I'm also starting to clear off the Hyper charts. D:

However, I've played Pop'n 12 a couple of times on a DASC and on a Pop'n Music 14 machine once. I play IIDX as well, but Pop'n has been grabbing my attention more. (I miss playing DM too) If I ever get a ASC, I really hope to join you all.

There are definitely lots of female pop'n players in Japan, if judging by the insane amounts of pop'n fansites run by girls online.

Sorry to barge in with off-topic stuff, but people need to get over the fact that some people are serious about this game. It's not that they don't have fun (they would have stopped playing then), but that they like a challenge too, not just OMG I LOVE THIS SONG LET ME PLAY IT type junk.
