That guy isn't much of an elitist if he doesn't even know to wait to see if you were intentionally failing it or not. Elitists, in my mind, are the people who heckle you for using mods like beat-kun.

Aww jeez don't feel like that, I like two of Terra's songs - Masquerade and Fantasia...just not when they're played over and over, heheh.

You should've asked him if HE knew how to play. And accidental enjoy mode is a big pain in the ass.. they could've used the white buttons as back buttons.

Getting a really awesome score followed up by failing a song that I've been able to pass for over a year. I guess in general I don't like being inconsistent at the game. Some days I'm on fire and other days it's like I've never played Pop'n before...

Longest song in the goddamn game (thats not a long version). Second being Melt EX. The ending of Melt is such BS.

This definitely pisses me off with any rhythm game. It was especially annoying when I started Pop'n, since I had not played IIDX, SM, or anything of the sort when I started. I'm just thinking, "I get it, you're better than me, but you've got to realize how much of a jackass you're being. >:C" Hell, I'm still like that whenever I play a rhythm game.

Nobody did play Pop'n at TGA sans me the few times I went, and that made me sad. ): I wish I got to go more, so I could've played more of Party, but I live kinda far from where it was.

Also, more people definitely should've gotten into it. IIDX is fun and all, but damn, we just need a new machine around here somewhere (I.E. someone should get the Party machine when TGA auctions it off and place it in an easy-to-access area somewhere in NE).

I hate trying to recover after I screw up, to be honest; it takes me a bit, since I only screw up when I somehow lose my place. Dying because of that sucks.

Yeaah I honest to god need to work on my scales for that. Also I've never passed anything above a 36, and Ive only two 36's under my belt. Gonna be a long road ahead for me.

Rhydderch: I only started really playing pop'n around the time they got party. Were you playing around the time they were in woonsocket? I noticed it was slightly more popular back when they were at their old location.

I guess the two biggest things for me are:

1: People who call you a weeabo, japanophile, wapanese, ect. just for playing pop'n.

2: People who beg you to have a turn, call it "OMG THIS IS THE COOLIEST GAME EVAR" and all that, and then say "OMG THIS IS SO GAY GUITAR HERO IS BETTAR" when they play it and realize they won't be able to pass 20 or 30+'s on their first try.

Also, people who say "lul this is a guitar hero ripoff stupid chinese lololol".
