tips for buying a new pop'n game

i already have 13 and im getting 12 but should i get 11,10,9,8 or 7? help!! i seen some songs that sound cool on pop'n 11 but there is some i never heard b4.same with others. tips? anyone??

Um, I don't really see how there would be "tips" to finding a good pop'n version. A lot of people say that Pop'n 8 was the best one to get, and it's also considerably cheaper now, with the Konami the Best versions.

eh.. i guess but there are few songs on 8 that i like that i havent already killed for myself at the arcade

Maybe it depends what kind of music you like? You could just download the soundtracks (though the soundtracks don't contain every song from the game) and see which one you like more... I really want to get Pop'n Music 12, because I like most of the music from it (that I've heard) and I like the style of it too...

But yeah, Pop'n 8 is probably the best one to get... plus it's cheap~ ^^

If I were to suggest a Pop'n game for you to buy, I would go with either 9 or 11, because those are the two games I started with. Pop'n Music 9 is awesome because it has a huge songlist with some long versions added for good measure(Misty Long is my favorite). Pop'n Music 11 has a slightly better interface along with more memorable songs and the URA versions of songs(different notechart, same song, different color character). I will be getting Pop'n Music 13 for myself soon but for you I think Pop'n Music 9 and 11 are great games to play, even though pretty much every pop'n mix has an awesome songlist. But that is just my opinion.
