Total Tokens: 537.39 Donate Tokens | Wanting to try out Pop'n Music Well, for the past couple of months I've been watching videos of people playing Pop'n Music and the game seems like a lot of fun to me. Now, I've only seen Pop'n Music games in Japanese (play-asia.com). This has got me worried since a friend of mine told me that Japanese games won't work on American PS2s. So my question is:
Does the game work on an American PS2 regardless of it being from Japan, or will I have to modify my PS2?
Also. Which of the many Pop'n Music games would you recommend for someone who has never played Beatmania IIDX(whatever it's called) or Pop'n Music before?
Thanks in advanced. | |

As for games to start off with, I'd reccomend either Pop'n 8 or 13. Both have excellent song lists and are a lot of fun. If you need anymore information let me know.

Total Tokens: 537.39 Donate Tokens | Ah. Good question. I didn't think about that until now. Oh, and I don't think I'm gonna be buying the flip-top mod. With shipping and handling it's $50. Not $30.
I really wanna play this game. I don't know what I'm gonna do...

Its a legit site though in case you are worried. I've ordered from it before.

I don't know what I'm gonna do... | It's great to hear that you'd like to try Pop'n Music, but you should either accept the fact that the game is going to be expensive or drop out now. An additional $20 for a mod is really nothing when you consider the other expenses incurred in creating an acceptable home setup.

Not only that, but if you do get into pop'n music, you will have to buy a controller, and trust me.. it's ALOT more than 50 bucks..
