Question Where in God's name is Adventure CS?

Carnival CS was released in August or September of 2006, if my memory serves.
Fever CS was released in July of 2007.
And yet we're almost done with May, and Adventure CS hasn't even been anounced yet.

I've heard murmurings of it not being released because the PS2 is no longer a current-gen console. But there's absolutely no reason for them to move up to the PS3 or 360, nevermind the fact that it would alienate all the home version playersby making their (our) current investments and setups completely useless for new software.

So the question remains- is Konami dragging their feet so the CS side isn't as lacking as Fever's was? Or is it not coming out at all? Be-Mouse is cool and all, but it almost seems to me like a diversion from the issue at hand.

When are we getting Pop'n Music Adventure CS?

Do you honestly think anyone on here could legitimately answer your question? The answer is simple: no one knows. It being due to a next gen switch is 100% speculation, and to be taken with a grain of salt. It is logical to assume though that Be-Mouse is a potentially filler between games, but don't give your hopes up. DDR CS games came to a halt after MAX (and in arcades, obviously after Extreme), IIDX came to a halt after 6th style, and GF&dm took the longest break after 3rd&4th Mix, so who's to say that pop'n isn't doing the same?

Any and everything at this point is pure speculation, and NO ONE ON HERE is going to legitimately tell you "when" you're getting Adventure CS.

I was hoping we could all be adults and speculate together, instead of being attacked for posting the question to discuss. I'm perfectly aware no one knows.

No wonder I stopped posting here.

How was that an attack? Your post asked when you're getting it, and the answer was no one knows. Your post really didn't suggest that the topic was to be speculative, but either way, my post contributed, and was hardly an attack.

No one is attacking you. He's just using common sense.
Also, don't you think it's already in development? And the announcement comes later.

PS: Why some people hate FEVER! CS? I tought it was great.

Sure, it's all true, but you don't think that phrasing is more than a little aggressive or insulting to my intelligence? You're just a lot nicer (or more tolerant) in person.

In any case, Pop'n is still one of Konami's best-selling arcade softwares, and with the way they release CSes these days it feels unlikely that they would take a break like they did with 6th Style (which was because 6th didn't sell), or GF4dm3 (which could have been for multiple reasons, among them lack of super-session support), or DDR (which was mostly because of DDR's declining arcade popularity in Japan), or Pop'n 5 (which was thoroughly delayed). As far as I know, Fever CS sold just as well as any- I know I bought it while I was overseas last summer- and that Konami is past the major-flub-up point in their releases.

It just seems to me that if they can crank out Distorted and Gold almost back-to-back, Pop'n shouldn't be nearly as much of an issue. I'm sure it's being developed, but usually they announce it early so they can push back the release date again and again.

But I would hate to see Pop'n Music turned into beatmania III.

And yeah, Fever CS is alright, but the CS side was sort of lacking, at least in my opinion. But just compare the CS exclusives to Iroha and Carnival and Fever sort of pales in comparison. Apology lisences are great and all, but the two songs they cut were two that I would have most liked to have played.

Or I just word things poorly on the internet, lol. I probably word things exactly the same in real life, but they don't seem so agressive because of the tone of voice I use. Unfortunately, that doesn't fly in text, so sorry.

Atleast the Party soundtrack hasn't been announced yet. I mean, Party's not even fully unlocked, so there's still time. Adventure's OST had FEVER CS songs, so if the Party's OST gets announced and there's still no word on Adventure CS, it may be time to start worrying.

Party has had a lot of "lolwut" moments with the unlocks (Jig Remix, World Tour 4... man, that Brazil chick has huge knockers). And it took me until now to get the correlation between "Otoko-Man" and "Momoko-San".

Speculations on Song Content, because there's little else to do:

54 New in Adventure (Not counting Ska a Go Go EX)
40 from ee'Mall 2nd Avenue

That's a solid base of 94 right there. On top of that, FeverCS had...
9 CS Songs
4 CS Lisences
2 CS Transplants

I wouldn't put it past them to put weird covers from GFdm into 15CS to cover the fact that there are only two lisences (One Piece and HIDEO SUWA YELLING), what, with Tentaikansoku and Sobakasu already being in 16 arcade.

Edit: Okay, so I went through my GFdm soundtracks and checked out the various lisences.
THIS IS JUST SPECULATION, NOTHING OFFICIAL. DON'T TAKE THIS AS FACT.
That said, I'm thinking these are the most likely existing covers to be transplanted:
Galaxy Express 999 (They already have the cover, though the other theme was also in Animelo)
Hikari e (They already have One Piece and Pirate Nyami)
Wild Challenger (from Bobobo)
Rewrite (From FMA)
Glamorous Sky (From NANA)

...I'm bored.

Rewrite please, lol.

EDIT: Actually, on the subject of GF&dm, I think Ryouran Hit Chart seriously needs to be on pop'n. Sure, it would be the same damn chart as Megane Rock, but it's SO GOOD. Arguably, why would they do that? I think the reason it was even written was to be utilized in a similar style as Megane Rock but for GF&dm, but in THAT sense, Progressive Baroque was more or less the "No.13" of pop'n music, and heeeyyy...guess what got ported BACK to IIDX. :p

SO, Ryouran Hit Chart please.

They just released a game on ps2 yesterday.

15 CS will probably be a ps2 release, but it will probably be the last one

Keep in mind, though, that Konami was pretty belligerent to move up to PS2 at the time of Pop'n 6, and they released it on PS1 anyway. Just some food for thought.

Screw Megane Rock 2! If we're going to get something from GFdm that's already been in Pop'n, it had better as hell be Funky Sonic World!
But in all seriousness, I honestly don't see Megane Rock 2/Remix in the future, though. I'd say more likely candidates are Flow Pop from Gold, or anything from Keyboardmania. I speculate that Konami's secret agenda is to revive the entire Keyboardmania soundtrack on Pop'n Music (but you'll all have to get your own tinfoil hats).
Still, I'd like to see Smoky Town / Onion Ring / To the 44883 / Vitalize / Heaven's Gate / Morning Music / Ride on the Light.
Since we've already got Megane Rock 1, I would guess they'd put something more popular... and older... into Pop'n- GFdm to Pop'n is less transplanted than the others, which is a shame.
Tierra Buena would be an interesting choice, because of the new Izumi song in Adventure being its distinct sequel. Kono Ko no Nanatsu no Oiwai ni could be another good choice (character could be alt color Elegy doll), since, Elegy, Link (in Party) and Wellfare are all in the same series and are all already in Pop'n, but I'm almost positive it would have the same chart as Neji no Hito.

Ubertreffen was more IIDX's bag to begin with (TAKA Respect to JSB), so it wasn't much of a surprise, to me at least.

If we get Robinson or Beams as lisences somehow, I will have a conniptionfit of ecstatic glee.

All this talk of gfdm crossovers or licenses and stuff and nobody wants a Cymbals song? I would LOVE too see Show Business in popn (not that I like that song or anything). Rally would be pretty cool as well.

What about Tamayura? Or Helicopter or Infinite or Cockpit or Reaching for the Stars or Little Prayer. I can keep going, gfdm is full of incredible songs :3

Funky Sonic World isn't in ee'Mall? For some reason I thought it was.
