Would anyone like to make a group effort and make a FAQ for...

Pop'n 10? It's the only Pop'n I currently own and GameFAQs does not have a FAQ for it and I doubt there will be one anytime soon.
BTW I don't know a lick of Japanese and the majority of what I could do is limited to typing it up, getting together some of the song names, difficulties, secrets and all that...

If theres any interest in it I'll start making it...

Have you checked RemyWiki? I'm not sure what information you're looking for, but they have the list of ordinary and unlockable songs, at least.

I'd also be interested in contributing to a FAQ, though I'm more interested in adding useful info to the RemyWiki page. I could tackle the unlock system - that's the one that everybody hates where you're supposed to make a phrase, right?

Yeah it is...but we could just put the time unlocks there for the start.
And while I agree that the Wiki should be updated...a FAQ would be nice just for conveinance (sp?)...

If you want we can start that here...just so everyone else what needs done:
-We need some "Frequently Asked Questions" (just so I can say I didnt make em up XD)
-Omake system...no way I can do that on my own
-Song list and diffulcultys, ill start tackling that one.
-Characters+Names (would be nice...)
-Unlocks+Secrets which is basically the time unlock and a description of the...spinny roulette thing
-maybe some tips here and there...

I think thats it, but add more if needed.

I can attempt the Omake and I can start w/ the songs and character names etc. ^^ you have aim or yahoo ^^

The official site is a good start for those who can read Japanese.

I can start with the special ways to unlock certain songs...
I will give more details later...

Unlocks during Normal Mode/Challenge Mode:
(These songs can also be unlocked through the roulette system.)
Telephone Shopping, Symphonic Metal, Fairy Tale, and Rakugakids.

Unlocks during Expert Mode:
Marathon course: Anime Hero, Swedish, and Ninja Hero.
The Four Great Civilizations course: Kyougeki, Pyramid, and Tabla'n Bass.

Other unlocks:
Christmas Present. (Unlocked if the PS2 clock/calendar is on or beyond December 24, 2004.)

One question, will this FAQ be able to handle Japanese text, such as Shift-JIS encoding or something?

Uh no Japanese characters, its basic text format thingy...
if you wanna see what your gonna be working with just look at any FAQ for about any game on www.gamefaqs.com

If anyone else sent me stuff I may have kinda...accidentally deleted it >_> so uh..
sorry...but im PRETTY sure no one else has.

Anyway FAQ Update: I'm almost done organizing all the sections and all that jazz...if anyone wants to make one of those big ass things at the top of FAQs that say the game name...be my guest as I forget where to get them :P
BTW I don't have all day to work on it >_> otherwise I'd be further...

UPDATE: Ok guys I'm actually making some progress here...I apologize I haven't had much time to work on it...
so for that I'm sorry.

Anyway back on topic, I've finished most of the song list and difficulties...and I need someone to just gimme some quick "hints" to the people that play so I can put that in the FAQ...like things to help the person get better.
BTW if someone could do one for Minicon and one for the big controller..that'd be great.
