================================================== ====

THEME DETAILS:__________________________________________ ______

1) TRINITY* is intended to represent a Christian theme, therefore,

about it. Instead, just don't use the theme. The intent is to
present a positive Christian Stepmania theme for users who
actually desire it.

2) Character selection has been omitted.

3) Nonstop, Challenge, and Endless Modes have also been omitted.

4) This theme is best when run in EVENT mode.

5) The picture file "Splash.png" is an optional replacement for the

there is ALOT of supernova metrics/edited pics there. Did you get permission form whoever's SN theme you took them from?

no points for originiality, but not bad for a first try.

By the way, I didn't mean for this message to sound sarcastic.

"Dance for JESUS " on the Title Menu

When you fail a song, a message with scripture verse Philippians 4:13.

"TRINITY" references the Holy Trinity

Loading screens have Christian messages on them.

I'm sorry to say this, no ofence, but this is the best way to destroy a fantastic theme. (just my opinion)

I think you should work more to "hide" the appearence of the Supernova theme by Takuya. Your theme with full different graphics would be more than aceptable, but actually all i can see is some graphics changed, and that's all.

At least your idea for a theme was good, but it need much more work. Probably you should continue modifing the theme and changing all the graphics to make it look good.

Hmm... I see my font for the PaneDisplay labels being used.

Javi: there have been a few metrics changes, just nothing too drastic, it seems.

I see your point, and I know that there are many similarities to the SuperNova theme (since it was the basis for the theme). However, I have seen themes with a lot LESS modifications (using the default theme as their basis).

There are also several metrics changes throughout (which are not evident from the screenshots). As AJ pointed out though, nothing too drastic. PaneDisplay and Banner placement is all you'll really see on the Song Select Screen, but I also built things in on the select style screen, the battle screen and the select group screens.

Nonetheless, I will still continue to modify and change things around, as I gain more knowledge of it all. The question at this point would be 'will I have the time' ? --the plague of the themers it seems.

Yes, i saw those changes, but imo the first condition of a theme need is to look different from another, because else it would be just a mod, not a theme.

A theme could have the same metrics as others but it can look different, that's imo the difference of a good theme than another theme. Anyway, keep working to improve this theme

Although this theme is a good attempt for a 1st theme.

all you have done is change graphics, and one or two metrics.

And not to be rude.

But there isnt a need to shove christianity down peoples throats.

I think there's more being used here than Takuya's metrics. Some of the graphics look like minor edits. Still, looks okay overall.

The people being like "what's the point of a Christian theme" should all just shut up, though. The concepts behind a theme are entirely its creator's decision. What should be up for discussion isn't the goals of the theme but how well they're achieved.

It could use some more Christian imagery; the Christianity feels tacked-on. If you remove all the text, it's not very Christian at all, which is the worrisome bit. You should incorporate the idea into the look as well.

Yeah, good point--

I think I'll put that idea into progress, for sure. Thanks!

However, any other religion wouldn't strike any controversy at all. I guarantee it.

Stupidity of our Nation. They feel offended when something uses a theory or anything that possibly goes against their shallow beliefs.

I like this theme. He can do what he wants with it, any religion being incorporated doesn't change the looks of the theme. It's his theme. I'm a Christian and if this was based off of Buddhism or Hinduism and said "Praise <insert influential person/deity here> and Dance", I'd still use it, if was a little more cleaned up. I'm not using it quite yet as is. It's getting a lot better, and I really like the banner in the songwheel idea. It's very unique. I can see a lot of good coming from the newer themers.

Keep up the good work, Andrew, and don't listen to anyone about what the themes message contains. It is your reflection of yourself and what you see fit. If you feel the need to remove it, do so, but don't do it because shallow people can't handle it.
