Can I implement these features.....
1. Brand new gamemodes ie. a new mode besides SN2's Standard Mode, Nonstop etc.
2. A system of playing/unlocking certain secret songs as Extra Stage like the Extra Rush from DMV3/DMV4
3. Events like the Zukin Wars in SN2
4. New ways to unlock songs not talked about at all in the unlocks file
5. Other forms of unlocks besides just songs
6. A BIG change to Battle Mode
7. If I miss out on anything else...

2. You did'nt play DMV3/DMV4? Oh, you see, in this system, there are Extra Rush Levels from 1-10 for DMV4 I think. What happened was that for Extra Rush Level 8 then...

When the Extra Rush Level is increased to Level 9 by Konami worldwide....

Simply put, this will keep changing all these special songs as the level goes up. My plan is to make a personal version of it whereby players have to meet certain criteria for their Extra Rush Level to go up, allowing them to play more secret songs.

5. Yes, courses are a possibility. But the real thing I am talking about will be touched on in point 6.
6. My plan is to revolutionise Battle Mode a little. Firstly, each credit now allows players to play up to three matches. Each match consists of two songs, one chosen by each player. The CPU player will randomly choose its song though
I noticed that the current one (Magic Dance) forces players to unleash their powers at times when they do not want to.
What I will do is to allow players choose up to 4 powers. Some needs more "mana" but will have more special effects. The higher the "mana" consumption, the higher their level will be, up to the maximum of 4. Some will help you too instead of harming the other player.
Some examples of powers....
Level 1: Speed change to 0.5 for yourself (Intended to be an unlock)
Level 2: Give myself a big boost in terms of points
Level 3: Use the "Reverse" command on my opponent
Level 4: Plays a random video on the background for the opponent to distract him/her! (Another unlock)
So what happens now is that I will first set a keyboard command to each power. I will set A for the first power, S for the second one, D for the third one and F for the fourth one. Then, during the match, when I need one of the powers, I will gain enough "mana" and press the correct key to use it. *For dancemat users, I will figure a way out ASAP.
I am also thinking of allowing players to choose which CPU player to fight against. Each CPU player will have its own idiosyncrancies like being able to get all Marvelouses for certain songs, and who knows, the player may get another unlock somehow if he/she defeats certain characters.
I will also allow players to decide who is the winner for their chosen songs. They can choose from Combo Calculation, Dance Points Calculation or even Marvelous Calculation.
NEW FEATURES I JUST THOUGHT UP...
1. Being able to change profiles after every credit, just like how players have to take out their E-Amuse cards after they finished playing their credit and reinsert them if they want to play again. This means no more using the operator key to change profiles, which is a big hassle sometimes.
2. Being able to personalise profiles eg. having your own SkillPoints calculated for you or even your very own theme just for your profiles, which may be an unlock!
3. A new way to rate songs ie. no more footer rating which can be misleading at times.

Can you try to edit the conditions for the extra stage (but i don't think that will work becaues you have to make different conditions for every level)? It sounds like a good idea but I don't know how to do it. Plus, does anyone know how to make an extra stage where the player can pick the song (like the cardinal gates)? | |

@Mutzy: My plan is to make the unlock criteria same throughout the event. Perhaps getting an AA? And if I am not wrong, you can pick your own songs for Extra Stage with the default 3.9 build.
@UnrealArcher: Looks like you have somewhat similar plans for 3.9... I speak to you at SM forums about this...
