[3.9+] XIV ANARCH [WIP]

You know, it really bothers me that someone can just take a direct poke at another themer who is no longer in the community and consequently unable to defend themselves and nobody will call them out on it.

Good thing I have friends who are still in here.

It makes me facepalm incredibly hard to think that someone can make some kind of ITG-styled minimalist pink thing with gems and butterflies, add IIDX selection bars and eval grades, and pass it off as IIDX-styled... no, IIDX-accurate, when the source material looks nothing like it.

I don't blame KKyuubi for his lack of experience (and consequently the fact that his item is not up to par compared to his claims). I do blame him for thinking that he can just poke at my stuff WHILE I AM NOT HERE.

It's one thing to be in the game for popularity. It's another to just have pride in your work. I don't take insults, especially thin ones which are just made to play the masses for a petty popularity grab.

Has anyone ever seen any IIDX16 media AT ALL? If so, you know that this is fucking close, even though IIDX-accuracy isn't an integral part of PROJEKT's direction.

And guys, regarding the whole SM4 thing... it's not designed for themes that COULD EASILY HAVE BEEN DONE IN 3.9, for one. For another, just keep two installs on your system; I'm tired of this stupid drama. All the _real_ SM4 themers do it, I do it, it's a GOOD IDEA.

Oh yeah, is this getting released here? I'll think about it but no promises, hahaha

I love how it pretty much turned out amazingly accurate despite the source material not existing when you started.

This is true. A good chunk of the theme was made based on the logo only, haha.

It's a great theme, but I dont really care for the IIDX16th look at all...too much pink =/

Did you know that pink is the new black for today's generation?

And, things are getting busy around here, people here and there creating pink styled themes because the latest color scheme of IIDX is pink.

Yeah, I don't really expect the userbase to get swept into the drama; for now at least it's our problem to deal with. I don't think taking potshots at other themers should be taken so lightly, though.

Anyway, cool stuff (well... depending how you see it) is coming up (not just from me) and everyone really should have dual installs to appreciate it.

Also...just a random shitty probably wrong idea:

What if you combined all builds and versions into one, and had it so that when you change to a theme made for X build, the game changes to X build. Possibly could be accomplished by using some kind of tabled data.

Not that I know anything about theming or coding, just an idea.

I doubt that'll ever happen. sooner or later people will stop making themes for one version or the other
