Also, you've seen his 'version' of Liteblue, yes? He says he got permission, apparently, but looking on the forums, it seems he asked someone else who WAS DOING THE EXACT SAME THING HE WAS DOING. If this was the original maker, sorry for the misunderstanding, but I'm having doubts...

Has anyone thought of this? If he releases "his" theme, how would he react if someone "came along", removed all of the AOI[S] art and put in art from "his other works"? If I read correctly, he has a "do not edit" thing in "his" themes, doesn't he? Wouldn't it tick him off to see "Ar Tonelico Plus!"?

Well, for what it's worth, I'd approve such a project. So if someone makes it, it's more "valid" than his version, considering that the theme is still by and large my work.

It'd be pretty funny to rub that in his face.

(p.s. I do have "his" theme if anyone actually wants to start on this.)

I'd think it would be better to make it when it's around 50% 'complete'. Gives it more of the full effect.

It wouldn't take long if all you're trying to do is mock him

Until a theme compiler comes out (and right up until someone makes a decompiler for it) the risk of your theme being stolen is the same as it always was.

Not releasing your theme out of fear just means the rippers win.

again i hate to say things sm4 can do because it looks like i'm gloating, but with SM4 you can compile your Lua down.

Of course using ChunkSpy you can recreate it again, but still.

Nope just the Lua code. (and it's also possible to compile metric commands, as seen in ITGPC, though I don't know how to do it)
