Why aren't you kids pumping out new themes for us to buttion smash in?

Really though, what is this? There's nothing anymore.

Time to retread everything.

1) Everyone here (by "here" I'm directly referring to Bemanistyle) just seems to want the following themes:

* IIDX-based
* actual IIDX
* DDR recreation

Everything else doesn't get a fair shake. However, this is Bemanistyle, so it's to be expected.

In an environment like this where originality doesn't thrive, it's reasonable for people to not post their ideas. That's not to say we're not working on things, just that either we're busy (I haven't stopped working; neither have my friends) or we don't want to bother attempting to make people care about our non-IIDX, non-DDR influenced works.

2) A theme isn't like a baby, pumped out every nine months. I know you know this, but with your choice of words, I had to comment on it.
Some themes can take a year or two to be completed, some take much longer. Again, I know you know this, so I'm not going to drill it into your head.

3) Going personal for a moment, I don't post about my stuff here anymore for a very telling reason. It's up to the reader to find out why that is. Oh, that and I theme for SM4 exclusively, which no one here seems to care about. Hooray.

So my suggestion is to talk to some people and visit some other boards.

Well, most of what AJ said is applied universally... just consider that theming is something that people do in their spare time, so it's expected to be delayed with Real Life stuff :P

Also, may I ask why theme threads get deleted? For example, I used to have a thread about my DDR Extreme 2 theme and now its gone. Can you like not delete a thread unless its locked or unless the owner tells a mod to do so?

I'm working on westfest with K0ld, and we've taken a somewhat different graphical approach to things. That theme will be released sometime after its done. (And not by AJ on a tracker)

Yes but only like 5-6 people know about it and it's going to stay that way until most of them are done.
