OK so here's the deal. Im going back to Indonesia and theres only one ISP there and its at dial-up speed. So before I go, Im gonna make my last edit and let Grilo handle it from there. (Grilo check your PM for a shitload of info). So this thread is dead.

Listen, the original theme author said that credit or not, he *DID NOT* want this theme to continue. So you must be able to *PROVE TO ME* that you have replaced *EVERY LINE OF CODE* and *EVERY IMAGE* in the entire theme, so none of his content is in the theme, before continuing. Ill give you 3 days to either tell me you're going to do this, or tell me otherwise. Send me a private message.
If the answer is yes, you will have as much time as you need to solve the problem, but cannot release the theme until you do.
If the answer is no, or do not send me a private message, you must comply with the original themer's requests, and remove the theme from the internet. This thread will be locked at that point.

Of course if you get the impression that he has indeed taken neodudes theme and worked on top of that then yes you may be right, but so far I can see at least a few reasons as to why we should believe this to be his own work, one being that I never saw anyone release an unfinished DDR Extreme 2 or DS Max theme, though I could easily be wrong there. Did neodude ever release a beta version of his theme?
Though I'm sure you'll take the best course of action either way, it is disappointing when themes that could potencially be finished never are, whatever the reason.
But then I don't make the rules.
I'm looking forward to this theme either way if it can actually be finished. | |
