DDR Extreme style sort in SM4

Is it possible for song folders to be sorted in any order you determine despite rules of alphabetical order?

Luckily you mentioned SM4.

Themes\default(or whatever)\Other\SongManager PreferredSongs.txt

Add songs with the folder:
DDR Extreme\1998
DDR Extreme\The legend of MAX
and so on.

PreferredCourses is basically Preferred Sorting for courses. As for PreferredSort, I have NO idea. :x

I got beware stepmania build, and I was checking the metrics or the ddr extreme vs4 beware and I figured out that in a part says like that:

but the thing that I think that you can put an order, I was trying to correct the metrics, but the only thing I can get is to make green the songs letters, and of each color, someone help please, solution to this, how to give the order like the DDR EXTREME machine..

that only works because it's a custom build.

go read preferred sort to do it in sm4, and if you're using normal sm 3.9, it's not possible so stop trying.

DDR Extreme VS4 and VS5 are my SM3.9 Extreme themes adapted to Beware's build (I gave in the past the authorization to use them, but now it's revoqued).
The latest available release for that build is Rev. 8.0b.
I just was saying in case of using some stuff from that themes.
