ddr supernova 3d backgrounds

Is anyone making 3d backgrounds? You know, the ones in ddr supernova where you play a song and this 3d background pops up behind the character where the blocks move and and effects happen?

I was wondering if someone was ripping graphics to make some, cause that would be very cool, plus it would match takuya's ddr supernova theme.

It could be done, but the problem is that the character isnt hooked to the background so yeah. As far as i know, nobody is working on it at this time.

there is,the people from DDR Maniax are trying and so far no one oes how much they have done and when the site goes back up

i've go a great idea!

why don't i copy ring1_back.txt and sphere_back.txt, plus move whatever gradient background you want into the BGAnimations folder in the stepmania directory, and rename it _bg.png (must be png format). move'em all into the BGAnimations folder in the stepmania directory. Then copy _shared background from the theme BGA folder in the theme and paste it into the BGA Folder. (rename _shared background to any name) and there you go!

You're right, the characters will not stick, but it's a good thing.

newNovae I've played. I have Takuyas SN beta 2 as well, go with Takuya's theme. As far as those metrics, i know nothing about metrics, but it looks like it's possible.

MilkShape 3D...thats all i have to say :P...well it dosnt make the character stick to the background but you can make your own visual 3D dancer dancing on a stage with obsticals moving :P
