You need to use a PS2 emulator and CheatEngine.

Then you need to use the DirectXmess in CheatEngine to dump textures out of memory from the PS2 emulator.

Then you will need to use an image editor of your choice to rearrange the colors, they come out BGR instead of RGB.

Then you need to cut them up, anything with rectangle select, transparency, and eraser will do this.

You can even save some time if you have smart select.

Now youre on your own.

There is a program that was once distributed by a DDR:UK user (Synthesis2k2) that allowed the dumping of some graphics, as well as music files, from at least the DDRMAX2 PS2 game disc. I'm not sure where to find it these days, but I believe you can turn up some results if you Google VB2RIP.

I'll say it once, and I won't hesitate to repeat myself, ripping graphics from copyrighted games is ILLEGAL and the company that makes the game could easily come to us and be like 'wtf man, why are you allowing this?' this is the same reason we don't host 100% official stuff, it's always gotta be dumbed down so as it to not be the original in it's full quality. So that's why your thread was locked, because what your asking is illegal and we do not condone it here. Sorry.

This could be a good discussion topic, since many themes are made with graphics ripped from the games (the example that comes into my mind is Takuya's DDRSN theme)...
