Banner Wheel, and Songname showing works here.
if you use only SM 3.9 and not 3.9+ either it will crash, or the banner wheel won't show. and it will look wierd.

I don't know any C++, or LUA so you won't see another release in a long time.

the downloads seem to want to cut off for me around 50% or so, any chance these are on a mirror somewhere? i really like the 4th mix interface, so i would like to use this theme.

If I remember rightly weren't you the same themer who posted a slightly older version of this theme not long ago?

You've made some lovely progress and I am loving the banner songwheel. Makes me almost want to make a custom build of your theme so I can recreate Dancing Stage Party Edition.

Patrick I must say as wonderfully as your theme is progressing I still notice a few errors here and there that I'm fairly sure you will fix with time. Also I don't know if you can program in the BG banner to display in the music select screen like so:

how exactly did you get the bg images to show on the select music screen?

I'm not experienced with theme designing, but I'd think it would have to do with the dimensions of the displaying image (i.e., 256x80 for bn and 640x480, both with sizeably varying alternatives).

Thanks a lot for posting this theme though - I love 4th Mix's interface because it's really unique and quirky, standing out from all other themes.

It's just a mock image.

I photoshopped a screenshot of your theme and added in cuts of the BG's in reference to how they seem to appear in Dancing Stage Party Edition.

yeah. apparently there needs to be a way to get 2 songwheels showing at once at the select music screen. the other one needs to be the song backgrounds.

*wish there was a way to replace banners on 5th mix theme with backgrounds.

problem I'm having with 4th mix banner wheel: as some noticed, the spacing isn't right. I couldn't find a way to get the wheel to space out without moving up, looking more like a techno fiend/cyberiastyle songwheel curve.

After this you need to make a Universe theme, that songwheel skill is very useful

Yes I know exactly what your aiming for and off the top of my head I can think up two ways to do this: one would be to program Stepmania to display a specific area of the BG in the BG banner section (which sounds very difficult to me), or you could attempt to just make a second banner songwheel with cuts from the BG's made specially.

For what I aim to do with a custom build of your theme for Dancing Stage Party Edition the second is perfectly acceptable, however for general use in Stepmania the first would be better so we don't have to go through and create a custom BG banner image for every song.

Ultramix 1-4, or Universe themes created by me.
