My noteskins crash SM!

whenever i play sm it wont let me use any noteskin. it crashes immediately. can i get some help here?

i have had some sm's that have noteskins working but no themes. but never both working. can someone post a link to a sm version with no bugs? (i tried the one directly from sm.com)

Are you trying to use a 3.9 noteskin on 4.0 CVS? cause that will crash it no matter what.
