Total Tokens: 1,537.77 Donate Tokens | Need help animating So I'm making a DDR Extreme 2 Theme and I need animating a few things.
I know how to animate in .gifs (look below) but SM doesnt animate .gifs
So my next option is to use sprite or whatever you call it and I came up with this
But when I look at the result this is what happened YouTube - DDR EX 2 Theme
I tried ~5 times re-lining the pictures but I cant seem to get it lined up right.
I also want it to go faster. I tried Delay0001=0.01 and Delay0001=0.05 and theres no difference.
I want it to go as fast as the .gif picture
So I need someone to line up the pictures and show me how to make it go faster.
The pictures I need lined are in a pack below. RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting
Thanx everyone

Use the Brand new Align tool in Gimp 2.4, or use guidelines in Gimp any Version here, to create equal, even numbered boxes in grid form. In addition to that your frames should NEVER touch the frame border, always leave 1pixel of border at LEAST around the object.

For image alignement... use Photoshop or Fireworks (only original software); they can handle it very well with rules and some artifacts in the draw area.

Better study up. There are other ways to do it, but resizing/cropping the image in photoshop, Digital Image Starter, ect. but like I said, to get the most out of it, use Katze's method.

I dont use Photoshop. I probably never will (I like how Gimp works). Post that in that thread and Ill add it to the tutorial.

Gimp has the ability to have an anamorphic grid, while in Photoshop it's a square >.<

Becuase it's to blurry to be used on a theme...
About Photoshop and Gimp: I don't like Gimp (period)... Photoshop is too complicated for beginners, better use Fireworks... is the closer to Paint, easy to work with and it has transparency. When you have more experience you can move to Photoshop :P
