When I first tried out this theme I was astonished by the "tweaky" graphics and kick ass sound effects. I tried my first song it using a c600 speed mod and thought "This should work great." When the song begins to play, it's capped at 1x speed. I thought "No big deal, I'll just try 2.5-3x". That didn't work either. Every speed mod I've tried does nothing.
Is there a way I can fix this?

Ehh, that's a weird problem, never got that problem on my stepmania.
It is known, however, for inaccurate pixels on graphics, stepmania dings you about three or so times when you change frames about mismatched graphics (on windowed mode).

Yeah, it is pretty weird. I don't have the problem with other themes and I checked the metrics.ini/english files in the Cyberia theme and everything looks fine (at least in the speed mods section...)
I wonder if it could have anything to do with the fact that much of the theme is in Japanese text (I'm running an English OS)...
not really i tried it also and it works fine with the speed mods. but seems like u had some issue with them. try deleting the cyberiastyle folder and then unzip a fresh unmodifed folder in their then try again
he's right, there are some themes more japanese than CS 4 (trane machina, techno fiend?) and I don't think it's the characters that cause the problem.
On the solution, will it also cure a bug on System zero? When I choose cover (even when I set it to off), I can never turn it off until I end my set or change the theme.
No, I think you're right, it doesn't work if you just set it to that option. You still have to press enter (or where you mapped it) to actually choose that option.
That's because CS 4 has multi-select, much like the Projekt Series.
