Er? AOI was always kinda peaceful-looking, wasn't it? The previous BG was just a big, scrolling sky.

Anyway, guys, some more progress has been made on mockups... the gameplay screen was redone, and everything else is new, too, pretty much.

because 4.0 is a completely broken piece of garbage?

I'd say until there is a solid reason to convert over to SM4, just stick with 3.9. 3.9 is fairly reliable, has support for everything except freeze rolls (and if anyone wants to use those they can use the SMO build), and is already in use by most people

I don't see any reason to upgrade to 4.0 right now, nor do I really see a reason to make a theme for it

isn't there a program like Style XP Builder that could easily make a theme for SM. Wouldn't that just make life a little easier.

It would make the process easier, I'm sure

but then people that have no business or skill in making themes would start making them

and it would become the same dilemma as trying to find good simfiles--you'd have to sift through piles of crap to find just one halfway decent theme
