In 3.9? No.
In older versions of StepMania (and 4.0 as well if you feel like coding a custom lifebar)? Yes.

Right thanks AJ. So from what you've said it's possible to encode a custom lifebar for anything other than 3.9? Is there any reason why alterations to the lifebar cannot be made in 3.9?

Also does mean that 4.0 won't support a way to alter the lifebar either, although from what I remember of the default build I played the lifebar simply moved from left to right anyway.

Still this doesn't help in making the 4th Mix lifebar...

3.9, everything is hardcoded and there's no functions to get the current life percent for players.

4.0, go check the NAKET Coder Evolution thread again and then come back here.
