What I do for the options boxes is just set the metrics to 999x999 so they are off the screen

Well I've finished the Select Stage screen, I've fixed the difficulty panel, but now I'm trying to find a way to keep the Left big image to stay put through all the different menus. I'm also getting images for the Select Mode screen, and I've got all the music/announcer in Wavs. Still missing the BG videos though.

I must say I am very impressed indeed. I am unaware of your theming ability but you seem to be doing a swell job of replicating the theme.

For the code on positioning the select difficulty names you might want to PM Takuya since his latest theme "Dance Dance Revolution Supernova" uses pretty much the same design as EX2/DSMax for them.

lol i logged in and decided to look around for new themes
i never knew that dancing stage max ps2 version has the same theme as ddr extreme 2
this theme made my theme look like crap, well in some ways at least
anyway, im good with themes as you can see in my other post
so if you need any help ill be glad to help you out on some things
anyway great job, looks like the graphics were ripped from the game, am i right?

Yes you'll find that pretty much all of the Dancing Stage themes are just modified versions of Dance Dance Revolution themes.

DDR 3rd Mix = Dancing Stage Euromix
DDR Konamix = Dancing Stage Party Edition
DDR Max = Dancing Stage Fever
DDR Max2 = Dancing Stage Megamix/Dancing Stage Euromix 2
DDR Extreme PS2 = Dancing Stage Fusion
DDR Extreme 2 = Dancing Stage Max

I like how this theme is looking since Dancing Stage themes are few and far between. In fact the only person I know to have released any is Takuya, and thats just Megamix, Fever and soon to be EM2.

It would be nice to see this theme completed so we Europeans can have a more familiar yet modern theme.

I do wonder if he is still working on it though. A lot of people do seem to start theming but then loose heart. I do hope he hasn't.

why not just do a ddrex2 theme instead?

im guessing because otherwise there will be 2 ddrex2 themes considering takuya is making one. i guess vgf just wanted to be different :P

I think that he could consider to make both with the same basic metrics... and just with some little cosmetic changes to switch between versions.

true, i mean isnt the only thing thats different between the two is the logo?
just make one theme and change the logo around and whatnot

Ultramix = Unleashed
Ultrmix 2 = Unleashed 2
And you'll get the rest...

DDR UNIVERSE = Whatever crappy name KONAMI Europe this time...I bet it'll be something as disturbing as SuperHappy360Mix...

Please don't make exact versions like Takuya - as much as his are good, sometimes I want all of the modifiers and gameplay modes that stepmania offers.
